The founder of McClean Vinyards grew up on fourteen beautiful acres of Syrah in Paso Robles. He loved everything about it. He loved the smell of the grapes, the rolling hillsides, the dogs running through the fields, the stories shared over wine... He loved all of it... except for the way the bottles looked and what they represented. At the time, every major wine maker in the region and around the world, insisted on printing the same old-school wine label: an estate, a family crest, a fence, a path to a house. It felt boring. Trapped in tradition. McClean wanted to represent wine as it is. Artisanal. Impactful. Vibrant. Beautiful. Dynamic. Fresh.

Through the process of screen printing and soul searching, McClean discovered a way to merge his love of art and good wine. And once he started his journey, he never looked back.
